More Details on Murder in The Meadows

Police have arrested two suspects in the Friday night shooting of a Northeast Dallas man. Louis Adam Barajas, 27, was shot and killed in what police spokesman Kevin Janse called a “drug deal gone wrong.” Police aren’t releasing the arrestees’ names while they search for a third suspect.

According to the Meadows Crime Watch website, a car entered the alley between Boedeker Drive and Blairview Drive at about 8:15 p.m. Three shots were fired from the window, and the car exited the alley where it empties onto Walnut Hill. A neighbor found Barajas, shot three times in the torso, bleeding on the ground.

Update: Police have charged Robert Dale Knox, 22, and Karland Brushat Bennett, 25, have been charged with capital murder. Both men have previous convictions for aggravated robbery in Dallas County. Police are still looking for a third suspect.
