Status Quo Maintained in HP
According to results posted 30 minutes ago on hptx.org, the Highland Park Community League-endorsed candidates have all been elected to the Town Council. The totals:
Will Beecherl, 667
Gail Madden, 663
Larry Nixon, 652
Stephen Rogers, 638
Andrew Barr, 631
Sam Tamborello, 149
Status Quo also won in UP with the UP Community League candidates winning.

Didn’t know until now that Sam Tamborello was a Univ of Houston grad. Thanks for making the effort to run! Go Coogs!
Thank you for running, Mr. Tamborello. You worked hard and honestly and reminded residents that it is OK for an individual resident to decide to run for office here (and not OK for the HPCL to have an address and phone number at Town Hall).
And thank you for serving, HPCL candidates. No one runs HP for fame or glory or financial opportunity, just out of civic duty. And your town staff are exemplary.
