Stamper — Owens
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Marshall Stamper of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amelia Stamper, to John Owens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Owens of University Park.
The bride is a graduate of Capistrano Valley High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of San Diego. She is continuing her studies as a graduate student, working toward a master’s degree in education from Azusa Pacific University.
The groom is a graduate of Cambridge School of Dallas. He received a Bachelor of Science in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a lieutenant, junior grade, in the U.S. Navy in San Diego.
The couple plan to exchange vows on August 20 at the Presbyterian Church of the Master in Orange County, Calif.
