Scots Drop to No. 4 in State Poll

After dropping 10-9 decision to Wylie East in eight innings last Friday, the Highland Park Scots dropped from No. 1 all the way down to No. 4 in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Class 4A state poll, which was released today.

Waco Midway (25-2) is the new No. 1 team in the state, followed by Brenham (23-4), and Corpus Christi Calallen (24-3).

The Scots (25-3, 9-1) bounced back from the loss to the Raider with a 7-6 win over Denton Guyer on Saturday and a 14-0 whipping of Wylie on Tuesday.

Highland Park plays at Pearce at 7:30 tonight.
