Want to Watch SMU’s Fireworks Again?

SMU kicked off its Founders’ Day Weekend this afternoon with a giant 100th birthday card, the unveiling of a centennial flag, and a round of fireworks.
Among the dignitaries on hand were University Park Mayor Dick Davis and Highland Park Mayor Pro Tem Gail Madden.
“All of us can join together and thank Mayor Davis for approving the permit,” SMU President R. Gerald Turner said after the fireworks. “And we can thank him and Gail Madden for handling all of the phone calls that are sure to come from our neighbors.”
