Jersey Mike, Call Me

Tuesday night I ran my kids over to Jersey Mike’s in Preston Center between activities. The TV was so super crazy loud I almost didn’t stay but we were just grabbing it to-go. It was ridiculous trying to place the order- she kept asking us to repeat but we felt like we were already screaming. Anyway, while we were waiting, I noticed the blaring show was called MTV’s 10 Most Outrageous Sex Myths.  I grabbed my children, put them on the sidewalk and returned to mention the inappropriateness of the show while I paid up and asked for the owner’s number. Never got the number so I logged on to comment about our experience. I didn’t want to go through this whole rating process and enter all of my information etc. Instead, I’ll say here, what I was going to say there.

Dear Mike,

Call me. After all that, the sandwiches were totally wrong.

Love,

Merritt

I would not have wanted MTV either. I don’t watch that junk at home. Why would I want to watch it with my kids over lunch? Usually they have the TV on sports or music playing. And my sandwiches are always correct too. But if the TV was too loud or distracting I can see how they could mess them up. One of my fav places to eat a quick lunch and hope that this issues is fixed before I go up there with my kids!

The location on Greenville is so much better – bigger, quieter, better parking and friendlier staff. Don’t know if it’s the same franchisee or not.

yesterday i took my kids to “i heart yogurt” inwood village. blaring obnoxious music, so loud it ruined my yogurt-eating bliss. what’s with that?! why do these manager/owners think people want harsh, angry music pumped up so loud in places that we are bringing our elementary age kids? my kids were even more annoyed than their old mother.
