HP Gets Another Mosquito Spraying Tonight

Tonight would be a good time to turn in early.

Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., Dallas County Health and Human Services will have trucks on the ground taking another swing at the Highland Park mosquito population.

HP spokesman Sgt. Lance Koppa said in a press release that the mosquito populations in Highland Park have continue to decline and no mosquitos have tested positive for West Nile Virus in the last three weeks.

However, don’t forget to wear long sleeves and pants, and as for going out at dusk, avoid it like the plague — an idiom that could soon be interchangeable with West Nile Virus.
