Lost Boys to Host Local ‘Good Lie’ Screening

good_lie_xlgIf you haven’t seen The Good Lie yet, you should. It’s a worthwhile drama about inspirational true-life subject matter, telling the story of the Lost Boys of Sudan, who perilously fled their war-torn homeland to start a new life in the United States.

At any rate, there are plenty of Lost Boys based in Dallas with harrowing stories of their own. So the local chapter of Friends of the Lost Boys will host a screening of the film at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station.

The event will feature a reception prior to the film at 6:30 p.m., as well as a Q&A session afterward. Plus, all of the proceeds will benefit the Lost Boys community college fund. You can purchase tickets here for what should be a great evening.
