Broadway Actress to Teach at JCC
Listen up, aspiring actors: Broadway actress Ashley Adams will teach Broadway Bound and Thespian Theater Programs at The Jewish Community Center in July.
Adams’ classes, each two weeks long, are a partnership between the JCC and New York’s A Class Act studio.
Another theater option is Camp Starquest, a four-week program teaching the fundamentals of theater, music, and dance in preparation for a staged musical production, beginning on June 15.
Adams made her Broadway debut at age 23 in the Tony Award Winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles. She has also starred in off-Broadway productions and acted for television and film.
