Stay Afloat While Watching a Movie in UP

MV5BMjI4MTIzODU2NV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwMjE0NDAwMjE@._V1_SX640_SY720_Spending a summer evening lounging in the swimming pool to watch a movie sounds pretty relaxing to us. Fortunately, the city of University Park gives you that chance with its Dive-In Movie series starting on Friday at Holmes Aquatic Center.

We won’t offer any critique of the schedule here, which includes animated family-friendly fare such as Penguins of Madagascar (July 10), Big Hero 6 (July 31), and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (Aug. 21).

You don’t technically have to watch the movie from the pool, but why wouldn’t you? Showtime is 9:15 p.m. Admission is free, and the snack bar will be open. An adult must accompany kids under 13.
