Shine Takes Over Greenhill AD Post

Jarrett Shine

Greenhill has a new administrator in charge of the athletic department. Jarrett Shine began his role as the school’s athletic director this month.

Shine comes to Greenhill from his alma mater, Brunswick School in Connecticut. He has held various positions at the all-boys campus over the years, including football coach and director of alumni relations.

A former standout player at the school, Shine coached the Bruins for a decade and finished with a 53-32 record, including five postseason appearances in the past six years.

His contributions off the field include overseeing significant increases in alumni gifts and other fundraising initiatives, as well as establishing Brunswick’s athletics hall of fame. He earned a bachelor’s degree in math and economics from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, and a graduate certificate in sports management from New York University.

Shine replaces Chad Wabrek, whose family moved to Atlanta earlier this year, ending his six-year tenure at Greenhill.
